“Be Like Jesus” Part 2
Hunger Like Jesus
In our journey of faith, we're called to hunger for the things of God just as Jesus did. The Gospel of John, chapter 4, reveals a profound contrast between Jesus' spiritual focus and His disciples' earthly concerns. While they worried about physical food, Jesus spoke of a deeper nourishment - doing the Father's will. This teaches us to prioritize our spiritual growth over worldly matters. We're challenged to examine what truly fuels our souls. Do we yearn for God's Word as desperately as we crave physical sustenance? Are we thirsting for righteousness in a world full of chaos? By aligning our desires with Christ's, we can transform our perspective and find fulfillment beyond the material realm. Let's consider how we can cultivate this spiritual hunger in our daily lives, seeking first the Kingdom of God and allowing everything else to fall into place.
